The Office of Distance Learning & Center for Academic Excellence is located in Ahlfors Hall on the Worcester (Main) Campus. The Office of Distance Learning & Center for Academic Excellence provides activities that support academic excellence and classroom innovation for faculty, as well as training and activities designed to enhance the teaching and learning environment; these activities include:
- Assessment and teaching and learning excellence
- On-campus workshops
- Classroom innovation seminars
- Skills training
- Learning Management System (LMS) Training
Goals
The goals of Distance Learning & Center for Academic Excellence include:
- To provide training and activities to support the Goals and Objectives of the College’s Strategic Plan
- To provide and support up-to-date technology training for faculty and staff
- To provide and support training and activities that will enhance teaching & learning excellence
Professional Development
Sharepoint Sites
Faculty and Staff have access to information regarding professional development workshops, Blackboard Ultra, and distance/online learning from these SharePoint sites. You need to be logged onto your QCC Microsoft account to access these sites.
Online Learning Coaches Service
The Online Learning Coaches help students succeed in courses in any modality (in-person, in-person-blended, online, and remote-blended).
