Leonel Miranda
Coach Leo brings over 15 years of coaching experience having coached Town Soccer, Club, Varsity High School and in the United Woman Soccer National Pro-AM League. Coach Leo has a proven track record leading teams to success and developing players who have gone on to play collegiate, and semi-pro soccer. Coach Leo’s philosophy centers around total soccer where every player understands every position on the field. The idea is to create a team where players are comfortable with the ball at their feet and can change positions seamlessly, with emphasis on team work, technical skills, and tactical awareness. Coach Leo is committed to fostering a positive environment conducive to learning, where players are united, and supportive of each other.
Coach Leo started playing soccer at a very young age where he developed a passion for the game. He played in high school helping his school win it’s first championship, and played for several clubs abroad. Coach Leo holds a bachelors degree in CIS from Suffolk University, where he played at the collegiate level. Coach Leo is excited about the future of QCC Women’s Soccer and is committed to leading the team to new heights, while instilling a love for the game.
