Transfer to QCC
The QCC Admissions Office works with/assists students interested in transferring to QCC for certificates and associates degrees.
Transferring to QCC from another college is easy and can be done in 4 steps:
- Apply to QCC
- Submit proof of high school graduation or equivalent.
- Request that your former institution mail your college transcripts to QCC Admissions Office. This is the only way that transcripts will be considered official.
- Make an appointment with an academic advisor. It's a good idea to bring an unofficial transcript to your advisor appointment so that he or she can consider previous credits taken when assisting you to select your courses. You can make your advising appointment prior to your acceptance to the college.

QCC’s Transfer Agreements
Private Institutions
Articulation Agreements are formal contracts linking individual QCC associate degree programs with specific bachelor’s degrees at private colleges/universities (as well as some specific majors at public universities).
Public Institutions
MassTransfer is a state-wide network of agreements between the Massachusetts Community Colleges, Massachusetts State Universities, and University of Massachusetts campuses.
Community College-Specific MassTransfer Agreements
MassTransfer has set up a specific program for students who enter a Massachusetts Community College with the intent of transferring to a Massachusetts public institution, called the Commonwealth Commitment. This program includes financial incentives for those who are participating in a designated program full-time. Learn more about this program and talk with a transfer specialist today.
