Students stirred up a feast of knowledge and flavor at last month's Cooking for Wyvern Wellness event, sponsored by the Office of Health and Wellness. The interactive workshop took place in the Test Kitchen at the Worcester Senior Center, led by Instructor Catherine Kling-Nourse. As participants prepared Four-Ingredient Energy Bites and a Chipotle Chicken Rice Bowl, Kling-Nourse shared insights on healthy eating and nutrition. Students gained valuable skills in creating nutritious, affordable, and simple meals.

The HomePlate Food Pantry & Resource Center generously provided all ingredients for the demonstration, as well as take-home kits for each student. Paticipants also received recipes, a cutting board, assorted kitchen tools and a grocery gift card.
