We are pleased to announce that Step One of the Active Threat/Run, Fight, Hide program is well underway with many in the college community who have already participated. Those who have not been able to attend the Step One training are still able to do so.
The Step One program features a PowerPoint introduction to the Active Threat/Run, Fight, Hide program to begin building more awareness. This training is available for all faculty, staff and students during the following days/times on the College’s 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester campus in October:
• Tuesday: Surprenant Building, Room 408S, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: Surprenant Building, Room 409S, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday: Surprenant Building, Room 408S, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Thursday: Surprenant Building, Room 409S, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
This training is also available for all faculty, and staff at the downtown campus ,25 Federal Street, Worcester during the following days/times in October:
• Wednesdays 10/11, 10/18, 10/25: Conference room 221D 12:30pm -1:30pm
• Wednesdays 10/11, 10/18, 10/25: Conference room 221D 4:00pm -5:00pm
QCC Police Sgt. William McGuinness, Community Resources Officer Nicholas Yacuzzi will perform the trainings.
If you are unable to attend these dates and times, please email Officer Nicholas Yacuzzi at nyacuzzi@qcc.mass.edu to request a training or stop by Office B48A in the Administration Building to request a training (or ask questions) Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m.- 9:00 pm.
Please Note: If you have already attended Step One of the program you will be contacted by Community Resources Officer Nicholas Yacuzzi or QCC Police Sgt. William McGuinness to schedule Step Two of the Active Threat/Run, Fight, Hide program.
