As we start the 2023 semester it is with new students, updated campus looks, and advanced technology designed to make QCC students’ experiences the best they can be. As we navigate this semester, make sure to check out Wyvern Connect, the Office of Student Life & Leadership's student portal, which is a new way for current QCC students to get information on Student Affairs' services, events, clubs, sports, opportunities and more!
Other exciting changes are more visible around campus as the Facilities Department has been working tirelessly throughout the summer on many infrastructure projects. The Administration Building’s front entry has been updated and now is ADA accessible. Other projects that are ongoing include the Surprenant Building, the Hebert Auditorium (closed while full renovations are ongoing), as well as the ongoing work and updates in the Administration Building.
QCC’s dining options have also changed this fall, as the College moved to a self-service/vending machines dining model for all its dining venues. Machines can be found in the Cafeteria in the Administration Building, the Café in the Harrington Learning Center and in the coming weeks in the downtown student lounge (25 Federal Street). To supplement the new dining model, the Worcester Regional Food Hub will be offering food pop ups featuring fresh and diverse cuisine from local food vendors. Our first local food vendors Simply Delight and Bocado will be at the Cafeteria in the Administration the week of September 11 – September 14 (7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). Make sure to regularly read your email and check the digital screens as more details are released!
