Showing support of the children who are on our campus was the focus in April. The Children’s School: Early Childhood Education Lab School put on an art exhibit, which took place in room 101A in the Administration building on QCC's West Boylston Street campus. The art show displayed two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork made throughout the semester at the Children's School. A variety of styles and materials were used, which showcased the endless creativity of the children.

Also during April, a new children's book section was added in the Alden Library, next to the circulation desk on the third floor of the Harrington Learning Center. The section was designed to make it convenient for students to pick up a book for their child/children when they are on campus. It is just one of the many ways that QCC is seeking to support students who are parents. The library's small children's book collection includes picture books, chapter books and even some young adult books. Library staff are on hand to help student parents with any questions they may have about locating and choosing children's books.
