Do you know a stand out student who should receive some public accolades? QCC's Honors and Awards nominations are now open. This will be the first in-person ceremony in two years.

No one knows their students better than the professors who teach them, which is why we are reaching out to ask each of you to consider nominating a student who has shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their education, profession, and families.

The Honors and Awards Committee has created a nomination form to streamline the nomination process. Before completing the form, make sure you have reviewed the award descriptions to provide the Committee with enough information to select the award recipients.

A few items of note: After completing the nominator section, make sure to choose the award you are nominating the student(s) for, and you will be directed to the nominee section and/or upload section.

If you are nominating students for the Distinguished Service in College Clubs and Organizations Award and/or the Service Recognition for Contribution to the College Award, there are additional questions regarding why the student should be selected.

Finally, the student(s) you are nominating must be graduating this academic year. The deadline to nominate students or upload your departmental award recipients is Friday, April 29 at noon.

The Honors and Awards Ceremony will be held in Hebert Auditorium on Wednesday, May 11, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with a reception before the ceremony in the Surprenant Lobby from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
