QCC held an inaugural Craft Fair and Holiday Expo on December 9, 2022. Students, staff, faculty and alumni showed off their amazing crafts and wares to a large crowd from the community. Vendors sold a wide variety of items including jewelry, clothing, plants, and art.

Director of Community Bridges Déborah González organized this successful event.

“With over 50 vendors and 300 hundred plus guests, we consider this event a success. The purpose of this event is to incentivize our local economy by promoting and showcasing the small businesses of our alumni, students, faculty and staff. We anticipate making this a yearly event," she said.

Some vendors donated their sales to charitable organizations. The SHE Club had a table selling beautiful handpainted lights made from upcycled wine bottles. All proceeds from the craft fair were donated to Abby's House. Club Advisor and College & Career Pathways Administrative Assistant Deb Fratturelli said, "We raised over $450! The support from the QCC community made all the difference for this wonderful cause."

We can't wait to see who shows up at next year's Craft Fair!
