Enrollment Counselor Brandon Won spent the early morning of November 8 photographing the total lunar eclipse using his cell phone and a telescope from QCC's library. Brandon was kind enough to share his photos with the Wyvern Guardian.
The eclipse began around 3:00 a.m. with spectacular views that Won was licky enough to capture.
"It was an extremely fun and meaningful experience, except for the lack of sleep!" said Won.
A total lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth and moon are aligned and the moon is in the Earth's shadow. The next total lunar eclipse will occur in March of 2025.
