Each year, the Human Services Club completes a community service project to help those most in need. Given that the economy has impacted many, last semester's students wanted to support their peers by collaborating with QCC's Toys for Joy toy drive to make sure finances wouldn't get in the way of a happy holiday.
The club was able to obtain over 250 gifts that went to 75 children of QCC students.
"Our students knocked it out of the park by meeting their goal and providing additional gifts for those in need," said Assistant Professor of Human Services Anthony Yeulenski.
The Human Services Club is open to all students regardless of their program of study. They discuss the latest trends in the industry and work collaboratively to on a targeted project each year to help various populations within our community.
