Get ready for STEM Week, an annual event in which Massachusetts highlights the importance of STEM education and promotes awareness of STEM to people of all backgrounds. QCC will be participating in several engaging events this year.
Autumn STEM Spectacle - Wednesday, October 18, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Quad
This event will highlight STEM manufacturing careers, a rapidly growing industry in central Massachusetts that is in need of new employees.
STEM Project Poster Session - Thursday, October 19, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Carberry Gallery in HLC
Students will be present their research on water quality monitoring for the city of Worcester.
Family STEM Night - Friday, October 20, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Boys & Girls Club in Worcester
QCC will be attending this event that is open to the public and encourages children, youth and families to come and learn more about STEM through hands-on activities and demonstrations by local organizations.
Also be on the lookout for more information on a Halloween event with STEM programs and Student Life as well as a Life Sciences career event on November 8.
