While the month of April is one of hope and renewal, it is also quite appropriately recognized as Community College Month. Education opens doors, lifts people out of poverty and enables them to fulfill their dreams. Community colleges play a big role in this by offering an affordable pathway to college, enabling students to have the ability to better their lives through higher education.
