Business Administration Transfer

The Business Administration Transfer associate degree program will prepare you for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, upon completion of the associate degree. Graduates from the Business Administration Transfer program, with a GPA of 2.50 or higher, are guaranteed admission to all Massachusetts state universities and to the University of Massachusetts, including the Isenberg School of Management (requires a 3.00 GPA), under the MassTransfer Program. There are several transfer agreements with private four-year colleges.

Associate of Science

In the Business Administration Transfer program, you will get an understanding of management, marketing, accounting, and communication, with the goal to transfer to a business administration bachelor’s degree program. You will use critical thinking skills to plan businesses in a global economy and comprehend the rapidly changing business world.

Program Goals:

The Business Administration Transfer associate degree program prepares students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, upon completion of the associate degree. Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the practice of business, including management, marketing, and accounting; demonstrate the application of this knowledge in a business setting.
Transfer to a business administration bachelor’s degree program.
Communicate effectively using written, oral, and non-verbal techniques, including the use of technology in gathering and presenting information.
Use critical thinking skills to appraise and evaluate business practices, including the use of quantitative and qualitative techniques.

Credit for Prior Learning:

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) allows students to use skills they already have towards a college degree or certificate. Work, life, volunteer and military experience may be translated into credit, allowing students to take fewer classes and earn their degree faster.
