The Writing Center will be closed from December 18 to January 6. We re-open on January 7 with in-person and online tutoring available during Intersession on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM through January 22.
The Writing Center offers a comfortable judgment-free space where students can seek academic support for any writing or reading assignment for any QCC course. Work with us on ONLINE by viewing our online schedule and making an appointment in Trac.Cloud.
QCC students also have access to ThinkingStorm Online Tutoring, a company that QCC contracts with to provide additional online tutoring. Students are able to submit a paper to ThinkingStorm and receive written feedback within 48 hours.
Generative AI Policy
The mission of the Writing Center is to help students build confidence and enhance their skills as academic writers. To this end, Writing Center tutors work with students' authentic writing, and tutors will not work with any piece of student writing that has been created using generative AI tools unless the student has explicit permission from their instructor. Students with questions about generative AI policies for their course should consult their instructor.
