Generative AI Policy
The mission of the Writing Center is to help students build confidence and enhance their skills as academic writers. To this end, Writing Center tutors work with students' authentic writing, and tutors will not work with any piece of student writing that has been created using generative AI tools unless the student has explicit permission from their instructor. Students with questions about generative AI policies for their course should consult their instructor.
